An “FFL” is a Federal Firearms License. FFL holders are commonly pawn shops, gun stores, sporting goods stores, and some individuals. If you purchase a firearm from SPI Guns online it will need to be shipped to a local FFL holder who will transfer that firearm to you. The receiving FFL will require you to fill out ATF form 4473 and pass an associated background check in order to receive your firearm.
Most firearms are test fired by the manufacturer. You may notice rotation marks on cylinders, cosmoline (it’s not rust – we promise), or some residual powder. All firearms listed as “NEW” are just that – New! We have received them from our distributors or straight from the manufacturer and as such they include a manufacturer’s warranty.
In the event we sell any pre-owned or blemished firearms we will make sure that item will be clearly marked as such.
Please inspect any item that you have purchased from us when you receive it. If anything is defective, missing, or not as described, let us know within 3 days of receiving your item and we will make sure to rectify the situation as soon as possible by either replacing the item or providing a refund. After this period, the item should be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, most of which last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years.

Due to a recent surge in demand for firearms, shipping times for both FFL and Non-FFL orders are affected. Non-FFL orders may take up to 1 business day(s) to ship, while FFL orders may take up to 15 business days, due to greater processing demands.
Once your order has shipped, an email with your tracking number is sent to the email address associated with the order. If you did not receive your shipment confirmation number please check your spam filter settings. Registered users can sign in with your user name and password and view the status of their orders. Un-registered users can email firstname.lastname@example.org
